I am the (elected) head of the town twinning association in Backnang dealing with Chelmsford (I grew up in Chelmsford!). I am very keen to push any links between the two communities forward as each has a lot to offer the other. By trade, I’m a freelance translator, but am also head of the foundation governors of the local primary school and maintain excellent connections to the administrations at both ends, to the local schools, church, youth organisations, etc.

I work at Hot Box situated in the Viaducts under the arches. My role is to book events managing our busy calendar both inside and outside of the venue. I love bringing something different to the City and get plenty of international touring bands to play at the venue.
