I am a professional photographer based in Chelmsford, specialising in tailored portraits.

My mission is to create various conceptual art projects related to unifying people in a world which labels people in a divisive way.

I have a BA degree in the Fine Art Photography from Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul.

My passion for creativity has connected me with various fields of art over the past 30 years. My path naturally gravitated towards the Ideas Hub and I have been active there in various roles since 2015. For the last 2 years I have been managing there. As someone who comes from a different culture, I appreciate working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, hence the Ideas Hub has always felt like home to me. I’m delighted to be able to help and take part in community activities, creative projects and multiple art & culture events at the Art Place-Ideas Hub.
The Ideas Hub has also been home to my conceptual art projects and my photography exhibitions. I have also run photography workshops and courses.

I am very proud of the fact that I recently headed a team which created a photography studio at the Art Place. In doing this I fulfilled a life time’s vision to create a space in which people can take part and explore the art of photography and develop their skills and potential in this area.

I have been a passionate photographer for the greater part of my life. Having grown up as a trans-cultural child, I have spent much of my life away from my country of origin, and photography has served as a universal language and became my truest method of communication with others.

The main goal of my conceptual art projects is to encourage people to enter into a new dialogue with others and move beyond divisive labels and social alienation.
