I’m a namer and brand identity designer, running The Identity Bureau, a branding agency based at Patch in Chelmsford. My speciality lies in crafting unforgettable brand names and designing standout brand identities that give businesses the distinction they need to thrive in a crowded marketplace.

I’m also the founder of Menticulture Magazine, a bi-monthly, print-only publication that shines a spotlight on the talent within the Ignite Creative Network. You can find Menticulture Magazine on Instagram @menticulturemag

I grew up in Chelmsford, a place that’s always been close to my heart. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of contributing artwork and designs to the city’s vibrant festival and gig scenes. I’m passionate about connecting with other creatives—whether through collaboration, offering informal mentorship to up-and-coming designers, or simply chatting about the ins and outs of working in this wonderfully diverse industry. Having been mentored by some of the UK design industry’s finest through the Design Business Association, I’m eager to pay it forward. I currently serve as an Adviser on naming and branding for Enterprise Nation.

Outside of branding, I love to write From blogs and thought leadership pieces on naming and branding to short stories and poetry, words are my second creative language. You’ll often find me at local spoken word nights like Waxes Lyrical at Hotbox, sharing or soaking up inspiration.

When I’m not immersed in creativity, I’m probably out mountain biking, walking the dog, or spending time with my family. And if you’re up for a chat, feel free to ask me about my love of horror films, vintage movie posters, the endless joy of naming things, or my (objectively correct) take on how to make the perfect cup of tea.
