I am the Curriculum Team Leader for Performing Arts at The Sandon School Chelmsford and am also proud to be a member of the LCEP Steering Group representing education. At The Sandon School, I manage the dance, drama, film and music departments.

I have been teaching dance and drama for 32 years in Secondary Schools and am passionate about the importance of arts, creativity and cultural experiences as vehicles for self expression and confidence. I often empower young people to take on leadership opportunities within my setting. I also enjoy directing and choreographing plays, dance shows and musical theatre performances.

I am always looking for opportunities to make connections to generate new opportunities for children and young people. In my spare time I enjoy attending dance classes and am a member of CAODS, Chelmsford Amateur Operatic and Drama Society.
