I am an artist, wildcrafter and general busybody.
My creative practice reimagines contemporary cross-cultural relationships with land and nature through wildcrafting, community herbalism, and visual ethnobotany. I am co-founder of creative nature based company Wyrd Flora which creates spaces across Essex to build ways of collective thinking and learning that promote and protect traditional plant knowledge and environmental equality.
I worked for Chelmsford City Council Arts and Culture team from 2019-2021. I worked with the Musuem after its redevelopment, and can still give a pretty decent tour… I helped run the Ignite socials and partnership meet ups as well as assisting and running lots of amazing projects that stick close to my heart.
I often return to Chelmsford now as a punter, for Ignite socials or when I run workshops across the city. Working for the City gave me a real sense of community, confidence and experience. I met friends for life and I am totally invested in the city’s creative and cultural journey!
