I am a freelance graphic designer and award winning artist based in Chelmsford. I studied Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford, and I maintain a passion for figurative drawing.

I have been short-listed for various prizes; including the Jerwood Drawing Prize, National Art Open and ING Discerning Eye. In 2008 I was included in ARTfutures, the Red Mansion Art Prize exhibition – following a residency in Beijing and an exhibition at Alan Cristea Gallery alongside three other emerging artists. I was one of thirty artists to be commissioned by the Royal Mail to design a special edition stamp for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

From October 2024 to January 2025 my exhibition “An Untamed Line” of ink figure drawings will be on display on the Chelmsford Museum Gallery wall. I also exhibit with the Artists at the Meadows in Chelmsford City Centre. I offer workshops in ink and portrait drawing at my studio in Hylands Studios and you can come and look around my studio on the open estate days.
