I am a freelance graphic designer and illustrator based in Chelmsford. I studied Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford, and I still maintain a passion for figurative drawing.
I have been short-listed for various prizes; including the Jerwood Drawing Prize, National Art Open and ING Discerning Eye. In 2008 I was included in ARTfutures, the Red Mansion Art Prize exhibition – following a residency in Beijing and an exhibition at Alan Cristea Gallery alongside three other emerging artists. I was one of thirty artists to be commissioned by the Royal Mail to design a special edition stamp for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
I now work primarily as a graphic designer and illustrator and my illustrations have been featured in various publications including The House of Windows by Alexia Casale, World of Interiors, The Times Educational Supplement and Condé Nast Traveller.
I was delighted to recently work on the illustration for the Chelmsford Festival, and I look forward to becoming more involved within Chelmsford’s creative community.
Some of my prints, including the Chelmsford Festival poster, are available to purchase from the Art Place in the Meadows Shopping Centre.
