I am known as SHAKEY (Dave Wheelhouse) and have been a major player in the Chelmsford Music Scene since May 17th 2007, when I created SHAKSTER RECORDS to promote friends in bands around Chelmsford & all over Essex.

I Produced a 17 track cd filled with local acts took it to USA GOT GREAT REVIEWS, came back saw a advert in paper for a pub looking for acts to play beer festival (Seabights barn Galleywood) took the cd and came out agreeing to arrange all music, so my first gig was a 3 day festival with many of the 17 acts from the CD playing.

Had first gig in town centre at THE GOLDEN FLEECE in JAN 2008, 17 years later still hosting regular gigs mainly at the Black Bull in Chelmsford. I also host a radio show SHAKEYS SESSIONS ON CCR, being at CCR from day 1 back in April 2014. I have just became Director of Chelmsford Community Radio.
