Sofia is a multidisciplinary creative, producer, curator, and speaker who delivers social impact events and projects.

She has worked in Costa Rica, Spain, and the UK. And is currently working closely with the creative community in Essex.

Sofia has managed The Art Place and the Art Place pop-up in Chelmsford for the past years, where she has supported artists, organised and delivered community-based projects and events.

She also has many previous years of experience working in audiovisual and creative agencies.

Currently, she is the Community Engagement Officer at Essex Pride and leads their outreach project, Always Proud. Providing events throughout the year for the LGBTQIA+ community in Chelmsford.

She is also a partner with Ignite Chelmsford.

Her greatest attributes are her passion and approachability and her promise to make anywhere she goes a more inclusive space, championing equality and diversity.
