Come along to the April Ignite Social to hear from local and national artists on the potential role street art has in shaping a city’s cultural journey.
Street art is so visible, and has the unique effect of changing the environment people live their daily lives in – it can add colour and character, and tell the stories of local communities, where there once was a blank space.
As we look forward to Chelmsford’s own street art festival, Concrete Canvas 2023, it is a great time to reflect on how this can play a lasting role in our city’s future.
Where: Patch, 5-6 Grays Yard, Springfield Road, Chelmsford
When: 7pm, Thursday 13th April
What to expect: Relaxed atmosphere, socialising, bar, and the chance to hear from some inspiring speakers.
Artwork: Philth Blake, Chelmsford Concrete Canvas.
