Our events are hosted in the city as well as online. Our relaxed monthly Socials are a great way to meet others and hear inspirational talks from local and national creatives. Our online, monthly Hub events are the ideal platform to promote what you are doing and call out for support and collaboration.

This is an open call to all the electronic music producers of Essex…
It doesn’t matter how much you may have spent on a set of studio headphones or monitors, nothing quite compares to hearing your music in a club on a loud soundsystem.
Our Open System night gives you the opportunity to do just that. Come down with a USB stick with your latest masterpiece on it and we’ll play it back to you at the levels that music deserves to be heard at.
Get instant feedback from fellow producers, be inspired by the work of your peers, share ideas and grab a few beers in a relaxed, respectful atmosphere. All genres are welcome and entrance is free
About the hosts….
Resonance is a cultural collective with a focus on collaboration between audio, visual and performance artists in Essex. Based around regular workshops of the same name, Resonance’s main aim is to foster a comfortable atmosphere for artists to develop their skills in live performance and installation environments. Whether it’s through the use of workshops, meetups or events, we encourage a diverse membership of budding and experienced artists to create alternative music and art
Hot Box is a quirky, live music venue and bar within Chelmsford railway station’s viaducts. Offering a chilled out vibe, with opportunities for original, local and international bands to perform on stage, with the latest in high quality sound equipment.
Hot Box is situated less than a stones throw from both Chelmsford Train and Bus stations so it couldn’t be easier to get too!
