Freelance Opportunity: New Year, New Career

Two or three Community Musicians/Singing Group Leaders/Tutors, required for friendly, fun, inclusive, non-auditioned community singing group (adults).

Local to Colchester, Chelmsford and/or Thurrock. Working with beginner-singers/non-music-readers. (NB Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, or in Singing for Health, of particular interest).

Repertoire: folk, jazz, pop, musicals, etc. Current, Enhanced DBS. Own transport for local work (there may be very occasional travel to ‘dep’ for other group leaders).

Good ear, musical and singing abilities. Guitar (preferred), or keyboard-player, OR comfortable working only with voice.

Regular work, ongoing term-time, evenings, and/or daytimes.
