Being actively involved in local organisations, networks and communities, the partners utilise their knowledge and connections to inform, challenge, and feed into strategic development opportunities. Seeking ways to support, strengthen and grow Chelmsford’s creative community.

I am Chair of the Ignite Chelmsford Cultural Partnership and a trustee of Chelmsford CVS and Keene Homes a local almshouse.
I joined Chelmsford’s Cultural Education Partnership as programme manager in March 2022. My background stems from community arts and I spent the last 10 years teaching secondary art and design as well as leading cultural arts in schools.
I’m an independent consultant working across the arts to help and empower artists and arts organisations grow. I’m currently interim Executive Director for Chelmsford Cultural Development Trust (Culture Chelmsford) and a strategic advisor to a City of Culture bid team.
I am a Science Teacher and STEM Co-ordinator in an Essex secondary. Alongside this, I regularly engage in various community projects through my position in the Chelmsford Science and Engineering Society whereby we link education, public and local authority to promote STEM.
I am a Liberal Democrat member of Chelmsford City Council, Deputy for Community Engagement and I have lived in Chelmsford for twenty years.

I work at Chelmsford City Theatres as the Visitor Experience Manager, I am the Chair and organiser of Essex Pride, having been involved since it began in 2003. In the spirit of pride, our aim is to celebrate diversity and encourage community cohesion.
I love bringing people together to help make things happen and I am looking forward to exploring new collaborations and opportunities.
I am currently Outreach Project Coordinator for the Ideas Hub, Chelmsford. I previously worked in three large local schools before becoming Education Manager of the V&A Museum’s Theatre Museum in Covent Garden for six years.
I am a public health practitioner working for Chelmsford City Council supporting the Local Authority’s approach to public health. Over the last 4 years I have been involved in a wide variety of projects supporting the development and delivery of the City Council’s district-wide Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
I am an Ignite Chelmsford Cultural Partner and have been involved as a volunteer and trustee in local charities and community groups for over 30 years, alongside my day to day work responsibilities.
I am Cultural Services Manager at Chelmsford City Council, responsible for Museums, Theatres, Events and Cultural Partnerships. I am passionate about ideas, collaboration, creativity, sustainability and social justice.
Born in Liverpool, England, I am a Senior Lecturer at Writtle University College, Essex on the BA (Hons) Art and the Environment course.
I am currently the BID Manager and am very passionate about supporting the city centre and the amazing businesses we have here.
